Ashley received Oak Park’s graduate Music Education scholarship!

“I’m incredibly honored to be the recipient of the Mabel Biever Memorial Scholarship, Music Education Scholarship for Graduate Students. This generous award will go toward funding my final quarter at DePaul University.
I send a heartfelt thank you to the Oak Park Alumnae Chapter for making this scholarship possible. I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragement from SAI sisters who believe in the power of music and education.”

One of the summer adventures among our members was Nornubari and Lydia popping down to Indianapolis for the International Double Reed Society conference together! These two bassoonists saw amazing performances, participated in fun reading sessions, and learned from clinics and masterclasses. It was a great way to kick off the summer by being inspired to make music!
