Patrick Riecke challenged us to look at burnout, team health, and retention through the lens of leadership.

His presentation, “From Burnout to Stability: How Nurse Leaders Can Build Healthy Teams & Retain Talent,” offered an important reminder that creating healthy work environments doesn’t happen by accident—it requires intentional leadership.

As nurse leaders, we have an opportunity to create cultures where people feel supported, valued, connected, and empowered to do their best work.

Healthy teams don’t just benefit our nurses—they ultimately benefit our patients and the organizations we serve.

Exploring new help and new hope through AI. 🤖💙

Laura Adams challenged us to think about patient safety in the era of AI and what it means to thoughtfully and safely integrate these emerging technologies into healthcare.

Her presentation encouraged us to embrace the possibilities AI can bring while keeping patient safety, clinical judgment, and responsible use at the center of the conversation.

As healthcare continues to evolve, nursing leaders have an important role in helping shape how AI is used to support patients, nurses, and care teams.

Leadership starts with the pause. 💙

Jen Shirkani delivered an engaging presentation on “How Top Leaders Use Emotional Intelligence for Success.”

Her message challenged us to reflect before we respond, recognize the impact of our emotions and reactions, and intentionally elevate our leadership practice through emotional intelligence.

A great reminder that effective leadership isn’t just about what we know—it’s also about how we show up, how we respond, and how we impact those around us.
