Dance Teaching Artist | Part-Time, Seasonal
This opportunity is designed for highly skilled dancers, choreographers, teaching artists, and movement educators who are passionate about youth development, arts access, and community impact. Teaching Artists train in KDO’s distinctive collaborative model, which features co-teaching, teamwork with professional musicians, and dynamic movement education across school and community programs.
KDO is seeking artists who are deeply aligned with its mission of using dance to positively impact children and communities and who bring strong musicality, movement knowledge, and teaching or performance experience. Ideal candidates are adaptable, collaborative, and excited to grow through training while exploring an innovative approach centered on inclusion, creativity, teamwork, and joyful engagement with children.
The application process is multi-tiered and includes submitting an application and attending a required “Experience a KDO Class!” workshop.
