Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council - INSILC The Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council is a nonprofit dedicated to improving life for Hoosiers with disabilities.

The Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council shares the goals and philosophy of the Independent Living movement, which state that people with disabilities have the right to dignity and self-determination. This means that individuals with disabilities should self-direct their daily care, activities, and life choices; the goal of INSILC is to advocate for and support these rights by writing and implementing a Statewide Plan for Independent Living.

Changes are coming to Medicaid Waiver Case Management Organizations (CMOs), and we know many individuals and families have questions about what this means for their future services and supports.

The Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) will be hosting Meet & Greet opportunities across Indiana to help individuals and families connect directly with the approved CMOs, ask questions, and learn more before making a decision.

If your current CMO was not selected, a new CMO must be chosen by July 15, 2026. These events are an opportunity to gather information, explore options, and make the choice that feels right for you or your loved one.
