The INLDC is dedicated to fostering the participation of the Latino/Hispanic community in the democratic process. In a mid-term year, 2026 will center on organization sustainability, with a focus on supporting social service organizations serving communities impacted by the current administration.

Executive Board members support:

✅ Building partnerships and supporting organizations doing direct work with immigrant communities;
✅ Distributing credible, trustworthy information; and
✅ Tracking legislation while coordinating an organized response.

🚨Community Alert: it’s time to go back and pack the state State House!

Join us on Mon. 12/8 to tell State Senators and the Elections Committee to Vote NO on the redistricting bill.

If passed, House Bill 1032 would effectively eliminate Indiana’s two democratic congressional districts, both of which represent the state’s most diverse counties: Marion and Lake County, which have the highest concentration of Black and Hispanic/Latino voters.

We’ll also be there on Tues. 12/9 to tell State Senators in the Judiciary Committee to Vote NO on anti-immigration bill, Senate Bill 76. More details can be found on INLDC’s newsletter, linked in bio.

We are still celebrating the fantastic engagement the Indiana Latino Democratic Caucus had during the NO KINGS Protest today! 👏🏼

From registering people to vote, to sharing resources, signing people up for INLDC’s news letter and recruiting new volunteers, today was nothing short of inspiring. ✨

Sharing a space with the Marion County Young Democrats made it extra special. 🫶🏼MCYD, THANK YOU for letting us partner with you in this way! We appreciate you all very much.

The afternoon wouldnt have been possible but for INLDC’s awesome volunteers, thank you to Ashley, Liz and Danny. Your energy was contagious. 🥳
