This is a copy of the official version, but this is an incredibly important day that should be recognized in Minnesota, which is why I've authored a proclamation to make June 14th 2024 Grandparent Alienation Awareness Day!

It's incredibly sad that thousands of grandparents and grandchildren are not being allowed to see each other or have any kind of relationship, due to parents and CPS alienating them. It's important that we have a day to raise awareness for this issue, because alienation can often take advantage of the innocent. It's important that we identify these issues, and combat any potentially abusive behavior that affects children!
