On behalf of the Bloom Project, we extend our heartfelt condolences to our Executive Director, Arnetta Scruggs and her family in the loss of her Aunt/Mom and Bloom Project's Auntie, Ms. Peggy Stephens-Williams.

“Auntie Peggy” held a very special place in our organization. As a former Founding Board Member, her legacy is deeply woven into the foundation of our work. She remained a dedicated supporter over the years, consistently pouring into our mission and the young people we serve.

Her love, wisdom, and commitment will never be forgotten. We honor her life and the lasting impact she made on the Bloom Project community.

We are praying for her family and all who loved and knew Auntie Peggy

Bloom Project proudly partnered with Warren Central High School and Moorhead Community Resource Center to host our annual Mental Health Conference, serving 50+ high school male students.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Students shared how much they valued having a safe space to openly discuss mental health, connect with peers, and be heard. From engaging activities like yoga to meaningful conversations and great food, the day was filled with moments that truly made an impact.

This is what it’s all about—creating environments where our young Kings feel supported, empowered, and equipped to prioritize their mental well-being.

Yoga: Jenna Murray Fit and Health
Photography: Drew Walker, Sr.
Videography: Michael Haney

This program was made possible through the MHS Serves Youth Mental Health Empowerment grant.
