National Coming Out Day | October 11
National Coming Out Day is an opportunity to recognize the courage, resilience, and community of LGBTQIA+ people—including those who have come out, those who are still exploring what coming out means for them, and those who choose to keep that part of their lives private.
Creating a more inclusive Indiana means fostering communities where people are treated with dignity and have meaningful opportunities to participate in civic life.
This year, Equality Indiana connects the spirit of National Coming Out Day with “Come Out to Q***r the Vote in Indiana.”
Registered voters can visit EqualityIndiana.org for nonpartisan voting information and tools to prepare for the November 3 General Election, including resources for finding early voting dates and locations in their communities.
Living authentically and participating in our democracy are both ways people can help shape the future of their communities.
Your voice. Your community. Our future.
