Christ Cares is a health informational that focuses on helping others to learn how to care for their daily mental and physical health. Special Presentation By: April Lynch, MA, LMHC & Darlene Graham, LMHC, CPC who will speak on caring for our mental health.
Funds are raised via ticket sells and donations for this event will allow our ministry "Saviors Hands Ministry Inc" to serve, giving a "Hand up" coming along side those who's insurance may not cover or come with Mental Health assistance, to meet with a Counselor by assisting with their first session.
This helps us a servants of Christ fulfill Proverbs 17:22,..A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
John 20:18 NIV

In that era, women were assumed to be mentally inferior, and unreliable. No one would have invented the claim that it was women who first learned something so important. Even in the details of His resurrection, Jesus' ministry continues to overturn those prejudices and raise the status of women (John 11:28; Luke 10:39; Galatians 3:28).
Those prejudices won't die easily. Mary will go and tell the disciples exactly as she's been commanded by Jesus. Apparently, they don't believe her. Despite all that's happened, they seem to dismiss her message as feminine hysteria (Luke 24:10–11, 22–24). When Jesus comes to see the disciples in person, they will be huddled in fear and shocked to see Him (John 20:19–23).

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

In its context, Psalm 8:3-4 presents the celestial heavens and their luminaries as evidence of God's infinite power, and wisdom. The Psalmist then contrasts this with the smallness of a single human being and marvels at how the Creator of the universe could also consider and care for someone so small as himself.
