For 128 years, Flanner House has stood alongside Indianapolis families through changing times, persistent challenges, and extraordinary progress. The faces and circumstances may change, but the commitment remains.

Our legacy is not something we simply look back upon. It lives in every child, family, neighbor, donor, and partner carrying its light forward—and helping shape what comes next.

On October 9, we will gather to celebrate 128 years of light, love, and legacy, investing in the future still taking form.

29,814 children are waiting.

Indiana has made significant investments to expand access to child care assistance, but thousands of children and families are still waiting for help.

As of July 2026, nearly 30,000 children remained on Indiana's child care voucher waitlist.

For working families, child care isn't optional; it's what makes getting to work, staying employed, pursuing education and building stability possible.
