Community Partner Shout Out!!

ICADV (Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Inc.) strives to end domestic violence in Indiana. Unconditional is proud and grateful to say that we're one of their community partners. Thanks to this partnership we have broader access to resources, funds, trainings, and more. Together, our organizations provide important Domestic Violence services and work to build safe, stable, and nurturing communities.

In 2025, thanks to donors and community partners ICADV was able to:

➡ Provide Legal Representation to 134 clients and 235 dependents
➡ Train 690 Law Enforcement Officers and over 3000 allied professionals
➡ Conduct seven (7) strangulation trainings, both in Indiana and nationally, to over 450 professionals
➡ Distribute over $214,000 in economic justice funds
➡ Secure $18 million dollars for domestic violence programs during the 2025 legislative session
➡ Evaluate and publish a report on the effectiveness of Paid Family Leave policies
➡ Respond to over 600 crisis calls, requests for legal advice and legal technical assistance
➡ Conduct over 50 listening sessions with survivors to better understand needs and development of grassroots advocacy
➡ Engage with community partners to increase their capacity to support survivors most impacted by violence

These are real numbers and stories from the women who have walked through our doors. Right now as the Epstein Files dominate the news, it can be easy to forget that this happens every day in our own backyard. The stories that are shared in the files are not just something you're reading on the internet. These are real people who were impacted. We believe the stories of the women who walk through our doors, and we won't stop fighting for justice for their eleven year old self.

Today was a special day of celebrating. We celebrated two women officially adding their shoes to our retirement wall. We celebrated sobriety for two other women, celebrating four months for one and one year for another. We’re so proud of the hard work of our participants! To commemorate the shoe retirement, we read together the following liturgy:
To the girl that did what she had to do to survive,
we cherish you
To the girl who wore these shoes,
we love you
To the girl putting these shoes on the shelf,
we bless you
May you move forward while honoring your journey
May you bring restoration to your dreams
May shame die and hope thrive
May you use your story to bring light to others
