No Barriers: Access & Inclusion Solutions

No Barriers: Access & Inclusion Solutions This page will serve as a place to share ideas, discuss issues and help each other problem-solve accessibility conundrums.

No Barriers (previously known as Access Indy) provides support to museum and cultural arts professionals as they work toward improving access and inclusion within their organizations. Although accessibility has improved greatly since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, there are still many physical, communication and social barriers that prevent people with disabilities from enjoyi

ng all the enriching experiences offered by museums and cultural arts venues. By working together to share ideas and raise industry standards, we have the power to create new opportunities for people with disabilities to become active members of their communities through participation in exhibits, programs, shows and other events/activities we deliver to the public. Please feel free to post questions, links to interesting news and share personal experiences related to access, inclusion and disability.
