It is hard to believe we are ready for our LAST CIAND event. This will take place on May 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

🎉CIAND is almost done with the 2026 season! 🎉

It’s hard to believe we just have one event left. Thank you to everyone who has supported, attended events, and volunteered to help CIAND grow this year.

We are already SO excited for what’s ahead next season but grateful for every event and person who has made this season so meaningful!

Meet Anya, one of our CIAND scholarship recipients for the 2026 IAND annual meeting!

“My name is Anya Kerstiens, and I am a doctoral student in Nutrition and Dietetics at Indiana University Indianapolis. I am passionate about public health, sports nutrition, and reducing chronic disease prevalence through practical, evidence-based nutrition education. Outside of school, I love animals, trying new restaurants and recipes, and staying active through exercise while working at a Pilates studio. I am incredibly grateful to have received a scholarship to attend the IAND Annual Meeting and excited for the opportunity to continue learning and growing within the field of dietetics.”

For National Nutrition Month, CIAND is hosting a yoga session with a journal article over the Mind Diet (for 1 CE hour) on March 11th at 6pm @ Myriad Yoga Studio (Stutz Building). Join us to celebrate NNM (*optional social hour afterwards)!

CIAND Scholarship for this year’s IAND Annual Meeting on April 9th - 10th, 2026!

This scholarship provides funding to Central Indiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CIAND) members to attend the Indiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (IAND) Annual Meeting on April 9 - 10, 2026. Applicants must be a CIAND member and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered. Two RDN and two student membership scholarships are available.

Funding is limited to $220 per RDN recipient and $110 per student recipient, which is the cost of registration for attendance at the IAND meeting for active Academy members. Up to 4 recipients will be selected. No applicant will receive funding more than once every three years. If you receive an award, you will be required to write a synopsis of your experience that will be published in an upcoming CIAND Newsletter.
