Today, on National Camp Counselor Appreciation Day, we celebrate the incredible individuals who make camp magic happen every day. 💙

From leading adventures and teaching new skills to providing encouragement during challenging moments, they create the safe, welcoming environment that helps young people grow in confidence and independence.

🍎👩‍🍳 Last week, Jameson Camp welcomed a Community Nutrition Coordinator from the Marion County Public Health Department to lead our new culinary arts program! Campers got hands-on experience learning where food comes from and practicing safe kitchen skills, including how to properly cut fruits and vegetables.

We're thrilled to help campers build confidence, independence, and healthy habits through this exciting partnership, and we can't wait to see how the program grows in the future! 🌱✨
