Every Tuesday reminds me that ministry is built one relationship at a time.

Our weekly load-out is more than receiving food for the Missional Food Pantry Network. It's an opportunity to pray together, encourage one another, exchange ideas, and learn from the experiences of those serving on the front lines.

I’m grateful for the faithful volunteers and leaders who quietly invest their time each week. Their willingness to serve strengthens not only the pantries they represent but also the communities they love.

Great collaboration and valuable conversations at the Indiana Hunger Summit

I was encouraged to hear so much emphasis on innovation, systems change, dignity, collaboration, and transforming the culture of food access. These are important conversations as we recognize that food alone cannot address the deeper challenges facing our communities.

One area I may have missed in the conversations and one I believe deserves continued attention is investing in the people closest to those we serve.

Our volunteers and frontline leaders interact directly with families week after week. Training and equipping them to listen, build relationships, recognize strengths and needs, make meaningful connections, and walk alongside people can turn a food distribution into an opportunity for lasting change.

We also need to continue empowering local communities to become part of the solution, recognizing the gifts, knowledge, relationships, and resources already present within them.

Systems matter. Innovation matters. Resources matter. But perhaps our greatest asset in food access is people.

Grateful for the Indiana Hunger Summit and for everyone willing to learn, collaborate, and keep moving this work forward.

We are incredibly grateful to the Central Indiana Senior Fund, a Central Indiana Community Foundation fund, for investing in Faith Hope and Love Community's "Beyond Bags of Food for Seniors program"!

This support allows us to do more than deliver nutritious food to homebound seniors. It helps us build meaningful relationships, reduce social isolation, connect seniors to vital resources through PATHway, measure impact with SALTview™, and strengthen the capacity of our community partners to serve with excellence.

A humble beginning. A bigger vision. 🇰🇪🙏

This video shows the tentative classroom for FHL University – Kenya. It may be simple, but every meaningful journey has a starting point.

We are grateful for what God has already provided and for the leaders, students, partners, and friends who continue to believe in this vision. Our prayer is that this classroom will become a place where lives are equipped, leaders are developed, and communities are transformed.

One classroom. One step of faith. A future filled with possibilities.
