Summer camp season is here!

Camp Belzer, Camp Kikthawenund, Ransburg Scout Reservation, and Pathfinder District Day Camp have successfully completed Scouting America's accreditation process!

That means thousands of Scouts will enjoy safe, high-quality programs, and unforgettable camp memories this summer.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and camp staffs who make it all possible. We'll see you at camp!

Scouting Story:
Meet Darcy, an Eagle Scout who described her journey as something she “can’t imagine life without,” even though that wasn’t always the plan.

She shared, “When I first joined Cub Scouts, I was set on not joining Scouts because it didn't seem fun and I just didn't want to. But here I am now, an Eagle Scout with my court of honor in 2 months doing the things I couldn't imagine.”

Early on, participation didn’t come easily. She continued, “When I first joined, I wouldn't speak at all and I didn’t really want to do anything outside of my troop.”

That began to change through connections in Scouting: “But when I met the people in troops 1910 & 1920 my mind completely changed,” leading to new opportunities and deeper involvement.
Since then, she's built leadership experience, sharing, “I did NYLT, went through OA ordeal, staffed NYLT, and am working on Woodsmen at summer camp this year.”

More than anything, she emphasized the friendships formed along the way: “I have met my closest friends in Scouting America, and I have no clue where I would be without it.”
We are proud of Darcy and hope her story inspires others to see what Scouting can do for them.
