The Center for Health Assessment Research and Translation at the University of Delaware is looking for romantic and/or sexual partners of individuals with spinal cord injury who are interested in completing a 6-week online study evaluating a web-based system that aims to improve sexual wellness. We’re excited to invite you to the first meetup of United Spinal Association of Indiana!

After working behind the scenes to get our chapter established, we’re excited to finally start bringing our members together. This meetup will be a great opportunity to meet other members, make connections, share experiences, and help us kick off what we hope will be many events and gatherings to come.

Over the past few years, we’ve been working behind the scenes to establish United Spinal Association of Indiana and build a strong foundation for our chapter. We appreciate your patience and support during that process. Now, we’re excited to begin the next chapter—bringing people together through peer support, fellowship, education, advocacy, and community events across Indiana.

Our goal is simple: to create a welcoming community where people living with spinal cord injuries and disorders, their families, caregivers, and supporters can connect, share experiences, and encourage one another.

This is just the beginning. We have plans for regular meetups, social gatherings, educational opportunities, and other events designed to help our members build meaningful connections and access valuable resources.

Be on the lookout soon with details about our first meetup, which will be held next Saturday. We hope you’ll be able to join us as we kick off this exciting new chapter together.

Our goals:
1. Get people out who hadn't realized there is an Indiana chapter of the United Spinal Association
2. Get people interested in becoming more involved
3. Get together to hang out and talk in person
4. Be able to say we've had our first event
