Voice of the Victim

Voice of the Victim Voices of the Victims, Inc. is a non-profit organization that works with victims of domestic violence, abusive behaviors, and sexual assault.

Renita relocated to Indianapolis from Radford, VA in October 2008. She is a graduate of Radford University, Radford, VA majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. During her time at RU, she had the opportunity to speak to the General Assembly in Richmond, VA as an advocate for victims and survivors of domestic violence and violent crimes. As a survivor herself, her voice w

as heard, leading to several changes in laws that now help protect victims from their abusers. Renita is the Founder and CEO of Voice of the Victim, Inc. Her passion is to educate the community of the many facets and faces of domestic abuse and abusive behaviors. She strongly believes that education of what abuse is AND equipping victims with tools to succeed AFTER the abuse is a strong start to bringing an end to domestic abuse. Currently volunteering at high schools and colleges, she speaks with students about self-esteem, self-awareness, good decision making, and domestic violence prevention. Renita also volunteers at several of Indy's local women's shelters to encourage victims to not remain victims, but to become survivors and ultimately THRIVERS of domestic violence. To schedule Renita Hills for your next women’s or youth group, email her at [email protected].
