Allen Charitable Endeavors Charitable group who hosts social events to raise awareness and money benefiting local families impacted by cancer.

It all started in 2001 when a group of 10 friends ventured off into the wilderness for a weekend camping trip (affectionately known as BDCT) to escape the monotony of their daily lives. The trip was so much fun that they decided it needed to be an annual event. They all would commit one weekend a year to getting together, reliving their glory days, and acting like they were 18 again. As the years

passed, the event became larger and larger. The original 10 friends brought some of their other friends, and those friends brought even more friends. As more time went by, the event started to create its own culture that transcended the individuals attending, and truly took on a life of its own. In 2006, Ryan Allen, one of the original 10 friends was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He battled the disease for nearly 18 months before taking his last breath on May 29, 2008. From that point forward the BDCT would never be the same. The founding members of the trip decided to honor their friend and everyone that has been affected by cancer. They transformed the trip into an opportunity to help all those that are struggling with the disease. Allen Charitable Endeavors (ACE) is a charitable organization that is all about good times, good friends, and doing something that is truly... well... good.

We are sad to announce that we lost a fellow camper. Joe Canada passed away last night. He was a member of the very first BDCT in 2001 and was a regular attendee in the many years after. Out of respect to his family, please let them grieve in peace.

EXCELLENT NEWS!!! We have dates confirmed for BDCT 2021. A little later than normal so as more people have opportunity to get vaccination and the world returns to a sence of normal. Mark your calendars July 23-25th a FB event will be added soon.

Big thanks to Nate for agreeing to assist with coordinating this year! This event is long overdue, it will be great to see all of you.

Exciting news for BDCT 2019!!!

Thanks to an anonymous BDCT Alum we have a new location that has a zero chance of flooding this year. We will be utilizing a portion of the private 800 acre property.

Property features:
Electricity
Modern Bathroom
Covered Shelter with plenty of picnic tables
Private Lake
Water Slide
Dock
Stocked Fishing
Volleyball Court
Horse Shoe Pits
Same distance from Indianapolis as before

After touring the property this morning we are beyond excited and grateful!

The one negative item we identified is that there is no Cracker Barrel close by. Therefore we will be providing breakfast for everyone Saturday morning.

We will be updating location in the event page along with further details. If you should have any questions post here or inquire with any of the ACE board members.
