Wow! What a great day for a Championship!

All teams that played today, played hard and gave it their all. Congratulations to all that won and placed runner up!

Parents and coaches; I want to thank you for being part of the Edgewood family. Moving into this position I have tried hard to revamp communication and making some adjustments that may or may not have benefited EAA. It is a learning curve.
I appreciate those that filled out the survey I sent last weekend, as it will help make major improvements; to help the likes of all of you.

It takes a village to run the diamonds. Our board works extremely hard behind the scenes to keep it running.

Some things that we will be improving before 2027 Spring season:
-Scheduling (practices & games posted on a viewable document at anytime for recent updates)
-Bathrooms
-Grounds
-Clear & Concise rules (they will be updated majorly****)
-Parent meetings will happen beginning of season
-More events to bring in funds to help MAKE big improvements (new PA system is top of list)
-Changes to different age groups
-Draft process
-Processing out old gear

I read and heard each and every comment. I appreciate the constructive criticism.

But what I need from you;
If you or anyone you know that would be willing to help with improvements, or resource to help with ANYTHING around Edgewood, we welcome all. We are a non profit 501c3. As I said, it takes a village. Every single person on our board is a volunteer; and worked very hard to make this season great.
Some things that we could use help getting fixed: scoreboards & PA system

Coaching, I urge you to give grace with coaches who struggle. If you have the time, energy, and patience to coach; I am always looking!
**we found several expensive cups left on the diamonds the last few weeks, if you lost one go to concessions next Saturday to claim****

The parking lot has been re-striped. Please only park in the actual parking spots

Can’t believe we need to post this again after the parking lot has been re-striped and very bright !!! Please only park where there are actual spots. All others will be towed !!!

Just a reminder of the NO parking spots ( they are marked in Red ). Parking lot is scheduled to be stripped this week. So hopefully this will clear of any confusion . Just a reminder if you are parked in a RED spot and not within parking lines your car/truck/bike will be towed.

Games cancelled tonight Wednesday 6/17. Tonight's moved to tomorrow 6/18, Thursdays to Friday 6/19 .
Saturdays remain the same

Parents,

I want to be fully transparent with the forecast for tomorrow evenings games-
IF games are cancelled, all tourney games scheduled for 6/17 will be moved to 6/18, same diamond and time.

That means Thursday 6/18 tourney games will play Friday, 6/19.

THIS IS ONLY IF GAMES ARE CANCELLED. Championship will remain on Saturday at 11am.

I will let you know BY 4pm tomorrow if games are cancelled.

Just trying to give you all a heads up now so you can plan accordingly.

Tuesday night games - we have weather coming in tonight. Coaches please have your team ready to go, may try to start a couple minutes early. Also players snap snap, hustle in & out between innings !!
