Registration is open for NAMI Indiana’s 21st annual Mental Health and Criminal Justice Summit which will take place March 8, 2024. Topics include Sequential Intercept Model Mapping; Peer Support Across the Crisis Continuum; Clinician-Led Community Response Team; Assisted Outpatient Treatment; Juvenile Competency to Stand Trial; The Living Room model; and more. Some counties are looking for new ways to improve interactions between law enforcement and people experiencing a mental health crisis. The National Alliance on Mental Illness is coordinating with local advisory councils to provide crisis intervention training and resource mapping.
