The Central Indiana Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit educational and service organization. SWE-CI is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women in central Indiana. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and receive the recognition and credit for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.

Join SWE-CI for a volunteer opportunity with Girls Inc. in Franklin, Indiana, on April 24th. The event will take place at the Girls Inc. of Johnson County facility, located at 200 East Madison Street, Franklin, IN 46131, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Following the volunteer session, we'll gather for a networking event at Big Woods Franklin, starting at 5:30 PM, located at 1800 East King Street, Franklin, IN 46131.

We regret to inform you that we must postpone our upcoming Society of Women Engineers – Central Indiana fowling fundraiser partly due to the current political uncertainty surrounding programs with DEI missions. This was a difficult decision, but we remain committed to advancing SWE’s mission and ensuring that our efforts continue to support women in engineering.

For many years, SWE-Central Indiana’s fundraising event has been centered around the bowling lanes but this year we are shaking it up!
