The Ark of Safety Inc.

The mission of Ark of Safety is to be a safe place of continuous service to our community in a substantial way by reducing the frequency of violent acts through physical education, entertainment, and education. was established and founded in 2016, under the direction of Lauren Denise Carpenter, who started working with young people in apartment complexes, to help them establish stronger morals and

values. began to grow into summer camps and after school programming around the city and blossomed into a multi-faceted organization offering many opportunities for youth engagement through physical activity, entertainment and education. Now boasting a city youth choir with over 100 young people on the roster, ranging in ages from two (2) to twenty-two (22), youth nights, concerts, fitness days, and camps; this organization aims to make a difference. Along with life management and survival skills, the youth leaders teach love, respect, and the power of prayer to their peers, exemplifying Christ in their lives. has youth officers and an adult staff of trainers/advisors who facilitate the programs for our young people. The Ark of Safety Inc.'s goal and vision is to motivate and educate our youth through sports, education, and performing arts with our creative program called “Edutainment” and "Fitness For Youth".
