As leaves fall and tree canopies thin, squirrel dreys (squirrel nests) become easier to spot high in the branches. But what exactly are you looking at?

🐿️ Squirrels build dreys using twigs, leaves, and other plant materials.
🌳 They are often built high in trees, helping keep squirrels protected from predators.
🍂 Squirrels can have multiple dreys and may move between them depending on the season and weather.

Next time you are outside, look up! You might discover a cozy squirrel home you could not see all summer.

One STEM Kit can spark curiosity. One sponsorship can open the door to 100 new opportunities to learn, explore, and discover.

By becoming a STEM Kit Sponsor, your organization helps bring hands-on STEM experiences to young people who may not otherwise have access to them. Together, your team will assemble 100 STEM Kits during a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event, creating resources that will inspire curiosity long after the day is over.

From squirrel dreys to spider webs, nature has some pretty impressive designs! This week, students explored how erosion changes the landscape and discovered the amazing structures animals create. 🌎🕸️
