Our dogs are ready to doggy paddle right into their new homes! 🏊‍♂️🐕

Adoption fees will be waived at our Doggy Swim event, and every adopted dog will go home:

🐾 Spayed or neutered
🐾 Vaccinated
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Completely ready to be loved

📅 Thursday, September 17
⏰ 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
📍 JCC, 6701 Hoover Road

The pool is reserved for the dogs. Human guests may enjoy the fun from poolside but will not be permitted in the water.

Make a splash at Doggie Dips at the J!

Bring your four-legged friend for one last poolside adventure of the season. All dogs are welcome during the following sessions:

Wednesday, Sept. 16 | 5:30–7:30 pm
Friday, Sept. 18 | 4–6 pm
Saturday, Sept. 19 | 12–2 pm
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 11 am–12 pm | Dogs under 25 lbs.
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 12–2 pm | All dogs welcome

Cost is $20 for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog. Advance registration is required.

Come for the splashing. Stay for the free wet dog smells!

This fall, we’re launching the Well-Read Book Club at the J — a welcoming monthly gathering where readers can connect through great stories, thoughtful conversation and whole-person wellness.

Our first gathering is Thursday, Nov. 5, featuring Breathing Underwater by Jacqueline Friedland. Enjoy small bites and conversation, followed by an author talk as part of the Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts.
