Last night was a beautiful evening for a garden blessing!
Thank you to all who joined us and to Fr. Showreddy from St. Barnabas Catholic Church - Indianapolis & Pastor Marc from Friedens United Church of Christ for their prayers of blessing.
Afterwards we finished planting cucumbers, green beans, zucchini, squash , tomatoes & peppers. Thanks too to Phillips Produce for their donation of tomatoes & peppers.

It was a beautiful morning at the garden today. We were joined by the 6th graders from Lumen Christi Catholic School. They did a great job of putting up the fence, installing the hose, and weeding, weeding, weeding! They even learned about taking the seeds from last year's zinnia flowers to plant this year's flowers.
The garden is in great shape & ready for the Garden Blessing on May 6th, 6pm. All are invited. We will finish planting after the blessing. Hope to see you there!

THANK YOU Lumen Christi Catholic School, Saint Barnabas Catholic School, and the St. Barnabas parish family for the wonderful food drive during Lent!
We have 110 Easter dinner bags complete with Easter candy & a ham, ready for our neighbors at St. Saint Anthony Catholic Church Indianapolis today.
Even a grandma & grandkids got into the giving mode & made 70 treat bags to give to the kids.
What a wonderful blessing this little pantry is!

This little pantry has had a BIG impact! First, for the 65-75 families that visit us each week. Also for the 35+active volunteers that make the pantry "happen".
But what is amazing is when people join the pantry through donations without being asked or totally unknown to the pantry before they donate. Read on about some of our recent "Pantry Angels".
May God bless them all for sharing so generously. They are all the hands & feet of Christ. Merry Christmas.

Today the 7th graders from Lumen Christi Catholic School worked at the garden. I think their goal was to out-do the 8th graders that were here last month.
I'm going to call it a ''tie"!
We really appreciated their hard work on a chilly morning.
