Minutes for October 19th IN NAWGJ Board Meeting

Members present;
Pat Ergle, Ruth Hanna, Ilena Earl, Lisa Poe, Adrea Swanson, Allison Gudel, Rebecca Wissmiller
Donna Trevethan-Regional Judging Director
*Meeting was led by Pat Ergle in the absence of Judy Kemp.
Old Business:
a. Pat Ergle made a motion to continue with the present website at this time. Lisa Poe seconded the motion. All were in favor.
b. The following information will be added to the website: board meeting minutes, information for new judges and the spread sheet for the meet referees.
c. Vouchers have been passed out to most judges. The comments received have all been in favor of using the vouchers.
d. Rebecca would like to start using our page for information to the judges. There will only be factual information posted.
e. Pat will send out the excel spread sheet as an email blasts to the members.
f. Erin Booher, Bianca Booher and Rebecca Wissmiller would like to go to National Judges Cup in January. Donna Trevethan offered to share her room with Rebecca. Ruth Hanna made a motion to send all three judges to National Judges Cup to represent Indiana and reimburse their expenses. Ilena Earl seconded the motion. All were in favor.
g. The reimbursement form address will be changed to Ilena Earl, C/O SIGS, 4343 Security Pkwy, New Albany 47150
New Business:
a. Donna will write the checks for any reimbursements. Pat Ergle will have the debit card to use through the absence of Judy Kemp
Judges Cup
a. Pat has the contract for the venue. She will sign and return it to the Indiana fair grounds.
b. Rebecca made a motion that 2 board members will be present to count the money from the meet and sign off on it. Adrea Swanson seconded the motion. All were in favor.
c. Registration deadline is December 29, 2017. Registrations will go to Adrea.
d. Lisa Poe made a motion to get bids for the scoring system. Allison Gudel seconded it. All were in favor. The following members will get bids, Pat Ergle will get a bid from Midwest, Rebecca Wissmiller will get a bid from Siri in Chicago, and Ruth Hanna will get a bid from US Sports production. They will email the information to the members by Oct 26.
e. Pat will get the hotel information from Baymont in order to add to the Indiana Judges Cup website.
f. Pat will get information for the medical trainers that were used in 2016 Judges Cup to give to Adrea.
g. Rebecca obtained information for a new style of medals that included the attached ribbon. Ruth Hanna made a motion to change the medals and purchase them with the attached ribbon. Lisa Poe seconded the motion. All were in favor.
h. Rebecca made a motion for Adrea Swanson to be the meet director for Judges Cup. Pat seconded the motion. All were in favor.
i. Ilena and Rebecca are checking into fleece jackets for the judges at Judges Cup.
j. Next meeting will be October 30, 2017 at 9:00 PM. Pat will set the meeting on the GoTo meeting app and send to the members.
k. Ruth made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Lisa seconded the motion. All were in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 PM.
