We all enjoyed a nice Holiday dinner with HVRP/HIP. We donated a meal and our former Hoosier Girls State delegates and their families donated gifts for the families. We were also joined by National President, Nicole Clapp. It was a wonderful night!

We will be hosting a Christmas dinner for the veterans and their families at HVRP on Thursday, December 19th for about 40 adults and 6 kids. We have gifts for the children covered, and are currently accepting donations of hats, scarves and gloves for the adults. We are also asking for donations to help cover the cost of food, and paper products. We’d really like to make this a nice event for them and it will be here before we know it. Please comment below if you’d like to donate or feel free to send a PM if you’d like to donate!!

Thursday April 18 is "Purple Up! for Military Kids” day! Wearing the color purple is a visible way to show support and thank military youth for their strength and sacrifices. As a part of Children & Youth month, American Legion Auxiliary National Headquarters encourages you to Purple Up! on Thursday and show your support!
Why purple? Purple is the combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue.
