We support, honor, and preserve the memories of our military heroes with events, memorabilia, print & digital media. Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Inc is an Indiana based non-profit corporation (EIN # 47-4809173). We organize, conduct, and support events and activities which promote the general welfare and gratitude to all Vietnam Veterans of the United States and their families. We support benevol

ent, charitable and educational organizations which in turn support Vietnam Veterans and their families. We provide research and education about the lives, times, attitudes, experiences, perseverance, and the accomplishments of Vietnam Veterans, personalities, celebrities, entertainers, philanthropists, businessmen and families who were impacted by serving in the United States Armed Forces and/or who were personally affected during their lives before, during and after war and help them tell and archive their personal stories. We provide educational opportunities, activities, outreach and strategic communications to the public to promote and recognize the importance and achievements of Vietnam Veterans and Vietnam Era Veterans and their service. We encourage and inspire the community, volunteers and donors to share in the enthusiasm for thanking Vietnam Veterans and Vietnam Era Veterans for their service to the United States of America.

Ron Kovic volunteered to fight in Vietnam, was badly wounded, and was left paralyzed from the chest down. After returning home, he became a prominent anti-war activist, was arrested 12 times for protesting, and later told his story in Born on the Fourth of July, which inspired the Tom Cruise film.
