Midtown Indy

Midtown Indy Dedicated to activating, connecting, advocating for, & revitalizing the 20 neighborhoods of Midtown. Great cities don't build themselves. Send us a message!

Midtown is comprised of 17 neighborhoods just north of downtown Indianapolis. These are more than just neighborhoods; they are destinations. With quaint business corners, museums, local restaurants and more, Midtown draws in visitors from surrounding areas and beyond. The vibrancy of any city is tied to the time, energy, and resources directed into it. Despite the tremendous residential, commercia

l, and cultural assets of Midtown, there are real threats to the values of this district and to the City of Indianapolis. Our success depends on the community support we receive through donations of both time and money. We'd love to hear from you.

A little history…
Many years ago, in this very same building, there was a barbershop in the back where neighbors gathered to plant the seeds of what would become the MLK Center. Back then, it was known as the Butler-Tarkington Multi-Service Center—built by neighbors, for neighbors.

To now come full circle and partner in this same space is something truly special. đź’›
