First, join us THIS Saturday, Oct. 3 to learn how to ride the bus to the 🌽 Broad Ripple Farmers Market and shop for fresh and local produce. 📍 Meet us this Saturday at 10 a.m. on Butler Way at Clowes Memorial Hall! Or, ride along Oct. 7 to the SoBro Farmers Market or Oct. 10 to the Broad Ripple Farmers Market.

After your market trip, you'll be a public transit and farmers market pro! We'll see you there!

Make your voice heard!

A public meeting focused on traffic safety concerns along Kessler Boulevard between Keystone and College avenues is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at 5:30 p.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church. This is an opportunity to hear from the Department of Public Works, share your experiences and help inform potential safety improvements along the corridor.

This weekend was a powerful example of what a strong Midtown looks like. Neighbors, businesses, and community leaders showed up for one another - filling sandbags, donating food and supplies, opening homes to evacuees, and working around the clock.

We are stronger together and this weekend was proof.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up for our neighbors in Broad Ripple and Rocky Ripple. Please continue showing some extra love to our Broad Ripple Businesses, many of which lost a day or more of business because of the flooding. Keep an eye out for more opportunities to donate, volunteer, and help with cleanup in the days ahead.

IMPORTANT FLOOD INFORMATION – RAVENSWOOD, ROCKY RIPPLE, NORA, AND HISTORICALLY FLOOD-PRONE AREAS

The National Weather Service Indianapolis has updated the forecast crest to 19.7 feet at approximately 8:00 a.m. EDT on Saturday, August 15, 2026. A crest is the highest level the water is expected to reach.

Residents in Ravenswood, Rocky Ripple, Fall Creek, and historically flood-prone areas should remain alert for potential flooding.

Residents who are able are encouraged to make arrangements to stay outside the area overnight as a precaution.

Continue to monitor official updates and be prepared to take additional action if conditions change. Do not drive through flooded roadways.

Thank you to the City for quickly addressing a serious issue facing families with pets who are being evacuated.

If you are evacuating with pets: Please go to the Broad Ripple Park Family Center, 1426 Broad Ripple Ave. Indy Parks staff will help facilitate access to a location that can accommodate your pets.

For all others needing shelter: Please proceed to the Red Cross shelter at 8401 Westfield Blvd.
