Are you prepared for what you’ve been praying for?

We spend so much time asking God for the next season that we rarely ask Him to prepare us for it. Yet throughout Scripture, before God moved through His people, He first did a work within His people. Before the fire fell, the altar was repaired. Before the promise was fulfilled, God’s people were consecrated.

“Destroy their altars, smash their sacred stones, burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.” — Deuteronomy 12:3

Some things don’t need to be managed.

They need to be destroyed.

God didn’t tell Israel to negotiate with idols.
He didn’t tell them to redecorate the altars.
He didn’t tell them to keep a few pieces “just in case.”

He said:
Destroy. Smash. Burn. Cut down. Wipe out.

Because you can’t build God’s altar while protecting the one that replaced Him.

This isn’t just another revival.

This is a call to tear down every competing affection, every hidden idol, every private altar that has stolen God’s rightful place.
