GIFT DELIVERY DAY! Today, we CELEBRATE 9-year-old Addison from Crown Point, Indiana who lives with an extra piece to her X chromosome. Her chromosome abnormality is called XP11.2 duplication. She is globally developmentally delayed and nonverbal and epileptic as well. Mom says Addison is sweet, smart, and an inspiration to anyone who gets the privilege of meeting her. She is so strong and doesn't even know it because it's all she knows. "Getting a proper tricycle for Addison that is safe for her to ride would be huge for her overall development and ability to have fun outside." Thanks to our friends at SureBuilt Manufacturing, Addison received her brand-new adaptive trike today and she was all smiles!

GIFT DELIVERY DAY! Today, we CELEBRATE 6-year-old Mayzie from Gas city who lives with Autism and is nonverbal. Mom says Mayzie LOVES water! The danger comes in because Mayzie is also a very bad eloper. She will run any chance she gets. Mayzie uses a stroller almost every where she goes. It's her safe space for her and mom. Right now she's too tall for her stroller and she has meltdowns and sticks her legs in front of the wheels. Mom heard about Anna's Celebration of Life Foundation so she asked for help! Insurance had nothing to offer, but she discovered the Wonderfold Wagon, which is ideal for kids just like Mayzie. A covered safe space with protective harnesses and plenty of room to stretch out. Thanks to the success of Anna's 18-Hole Challenge last month, Mayzie received her Special Edition (Special Olympics) wagon!

GIFT DELIVERY DAY! Today, we CELEBRATE 8-year-old Alexander from New Castle who lives with Autism and is non-verbal with ADHD. Alex has quite a few of the normal traits of being autistic including some being trouble sleeping, liking enclosed places and no sense of danger. Mom has wanted to give him a safe and sensory-filled space to hang out, play, sleep....whatever he's comfortable with at the moment. Shes's been able to get a couple things on her list, but needed a little boost for a few more. Thanks to donors like you, Alexander received sensory items today like the Jumparoo, TumbleTrak and a giant crash pad! His energy level will be as thankful as mom was!
