🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: April Johnson! 🌟
AAOE proudly recognizes April Johnson, COO of Texas Orthopaedic Associates a division of OrthoLoneStar – Dallas, Texas for her service on the Membership Council.
After attending AAOE conferences for the past five years, April found not only valuable education and leadership development, but also a welcoming community that helped shape her professional journey. Inspired by the support she received as a first-time attendee, she chose to volunteer to help others feel equally encouraged and connected.

April values the collaboration and professional relationships fostered through AAOE, especially the opportunity to connect with leaders across the country facing similar challenges. She recalls attending her first conference during a major career transition and leaving with greater confidence in her leadership abilities and the impact she could make within her practice.
Her enthusiasm for orthopedics comes from the specialty’s diversity, innovation, and meaningful patient impact. After more than a decade in the field, she remains inspired by seeing patients recover, regain mobility, and return to the lives they love.
