The BRVA is a not-for-profit community organization serving residents and businesses in Broad Ripple. Founded in 1969, the BRVA is the oldest and largest volunteer organization actively working on initiatives to improve the quality of life in Broad Ripple. The BRVA's mission is to support and encourage a spirit of community cooperation in Village development and beautification and to serve as a co

mmunity liaison to the City of Indianapolis. The BRVA executes it mission through programs and initiatives focused on beautification, public safety, historic preservation, urban planning, economic development, community development, community-focused events, and advocacy. The official boundaries of BRVA are Kessler Boulevard East Drive on the south, North Meridian Street on the west, the White River on the north, and North Evanston Avenue on the east. Individuals, businesses, and organizations outside the boundaries who are interested in contributing to the well-being of Broad Ripple Village may also join the BRVA.
