District #5 Picnic Success! ☀️🌭🎉

Members from Rochester Lodge #47, Chequeuk Lodge #56, Maxinkuckee Lodge #373, Center Lodge #345, and Tyner Lodge #821 gathered for a wonderful District #5 Picnic filled with fellowship, food, fun, and games!

A great time was had by all as brothers, sisters, and families enjoyed an afternoon of friendship and community. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next District gathering!

Scottsburg IOOF Lodge #555 is proud to partner with the Scott County Fire Chiefs and Firefighters in donating $20,000 to the Crusade for Children.

For more years than many of us can remember, our local firefighters have stood at intersections throughout Scott County collecting donations to support this incredible cause. Through the generosity of our community, the Crusade for Children has consistently returned 75% or more of the funds raised to help Scott County children facing health challenges and special needs.

We are fortunate to have dedicated firefighters who selflessly serve our community year after year—not only by protecting our homes, families, and property, but also by working tirelessly to support our children through the Crusade for Children.

To our Fire Chiefs—Joe Smith of Jennings Township, James Richie of Scottsburg, Wayne Williams of Vienna Township, Jeff Lynch of Lexington, Brad Williams of Finley Township, John Lord of Johnson Township—and to all the firefighters of Scott County, the Odd Fellows extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation. Your commitment to service makes a lasting difference in the lives of local children and families.

Maurice Curtis Encampment #9 proudly announces the exaltation of Patriarch Jacob Ross to the Royal Purple Degree, one of the highest honors of the Encampment branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

The Royal Purple Degree recognizes dedication to the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth, and symbolizes a Patriarch’s continued journey of service and commitment to Odd Fellowship.

It is inspiring to see firsthand the dedication of our Odd Fellow lodges and the positive impact they continue to make in their local communities. Everywhere I go, I find Brothers and Sisters living out the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth through service, fellowship, and community involvement.

This Memorial Day, the I.O.O.F. Grand Lodge of Indiana honors the courageous men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and our freedoms.

Across Indiana and throughout this great country, we pause in remembrance of those who never returned home — heroes whose devotion to duty, honor, and country will forever be remembered. Their sacrifice is woven into the foundation of the freedoms we cherish today.

As Odd Fellows, we are guided by the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth. On this sacred day of remembrance, we stand united in gratitude for the fallen, in support of their families, and in respect for all who have served our nation with courage and selflessness.

May we never forget the price of liberty, and may the memory of our fallen heroes continue to inspire unity, service, and compassion in our communities. 🇺🇸
