Team IMPACT Indy 2nd Annual Free-throw-athon
Freet throws - the easiest shot in basketball or is it? A missed free throw can win or lose basketball games, many players don't work hard enough to improve at the "charity stripe". As a player on Team IMPACT Indy basketball, players have the opportunity of competing in a Free-throw-athon. Each player collects sponsorships for each free throw made within 30 minutes. This fundraiser is used to work on the players free throw skills, a vital part of any basketball team while raising money to go toward each player's team expenses; including tournament fees, league fees, travel costs, hotels, gym rental, training, and other team needs.
We brought together these young people to do more than just train them to compete at a high level on the court. But to compete at an even higher level in life. We want these teens to learn why being an positive IMPACT within your team, your family, your school, your community, and in every aspect of life. We are setting the bar high and the expectation that each individual gives their all on and off the court.
