Also, we have a class on Soap making and using herbs. That class is on Tuesday October 13 at 6 pm. Contact Holliday Park to register. Both events are in the Nature Center.

Our next workshop will be in October. We will teach all about soap making, this time using easily accessed ingredients. Our class will use chamomile infused oil. You will leave with samples of the soap being made as well as lots of information and sources.

Garfield Park: Saturday, October 17.

Nature Center at Holliday Park. This will be the new home for our workshops and HSCI meetings. Our first workshop will be August 17th and will be on Harvesting and preserving our harvests.

Holliday Park has decided to not charge a fee for our first few workshops while we determine the interest. We are very excited about upcoming workshops with plenty more planned for 2027.

We will continue having workshops at Garfield Park as well.

HSCI will now be offering workshops at Holliday Park, 6363 Spring Mill Road. All workshops will be held in the Nature Center from 6 to 8 PM. Dates are:

August 17: Harvesting, drying and storing herbs for winter use.
October 13: Soap making using herbs.
November 10: Holliday Herb workshop.

Garfield Park Conservatory Workshops.
