Indian Lake Improvement Association (ILIA) Indian Lake Improvement Association is a homeowners' community in Marion County, Indiana. Members enjoy the amenities of a private lake and common areas.

Indian Lake is a lake in Marion County in central Indiana in the United States. It is approximately 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Indianapolis. It was created in 1929 by damming Indian Creek, a tributary to Fall Creek. Prior to the creation of Geist Reservoir in 1943, Indian Lake was the largest body of water in central Indiana. Morse Reservoir was created in 1956 and Eagle Creek in 1967.

The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) would like to remind residents that residential and heavy trash, curbside recycling and leaf collection will operate on a slide schedule this week in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

Residential trash, heavy trash, leaf collection and curbside recycling services will NOT be available on Thursday, Nov. 26. Instead, Thursday routes will run on Friday, Nov.27, and Friday routes will be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 28. All services will return to normal schedules beginning on Monday, Nov. 30.

Now through Dec. 4, residents may leave up to 40 bags of leaves (in regular trash bags or paper yard waste bags) for collection on their regular trash day. Friday, Dec. 4, will be the last day of the City's leaf collection program.

Visit www.indy.gov/trash to find your collection days for regular and heavy trash as well as helpful information about recycling programs and guidelines for acceptable and unacceptable trash items.

Congratulations to Lucas Norrington!!! Found out today from Butler University that he has received the Spanish Scholarship, the Morton Finney Leadership Scholarship and the Deans' Academic Scholarship. Still waiting to hear about the Music Scholarship. So he is BUTLER BOUND!!!!
