Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association (MKNA)

Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association (MKNA) Live, Work, Shop, Play, Learn, Grow in Meridian Kessler— a community in the heart of midtown Indianapolis.

For nearly a century, Meridian Kessler has provided Indianapolis citizens a place to live, work, shop, play, learn and grow.

The Meridian Kessler neighborhood is distinctive, diverse and vibrant with its 6,000 homes and 15,000 residents.

With a vital mix of homes, local merchants and gracious green spaces, Meridian-Kessler is far enough north of downtown —just four miles— to be thoroughly laid–back and near enough to the city center to be completely urban.

Another local business has demonstrated its support for the Meridian-Kessler community by becoming an MKNA Business Member. Chase Holloway is founder and principal architect of Eccho Design. He specializes in NetZero and passive home designs that can produce as much energy as they consume.

Thank you to Chase and the Eccho team for supporting MKNA!

We're thrilled to introduce MKNA's new Executive Director—Kristin Toner.

If Kristin Toner looks familiar, it’s because she’s served as MKNA’s Zone 4 representative for three years. The eight-year Meridian-Kessler resident has worked in the fine arts for over 15 years, most recently as Assistant Artistic Director for the Indianapolis Ballet.

Learn more about Kristin on MKNA's blog: https://mkna.org/2026/06/03/meet-our-new-executive-director-kristin-toner/

Please join us in welcoming Kristin into this new role!

🍋🩷 Pink lemonade stands dotted MK streets last weekend to support a 5-year-old girl with Batten Disease. Students from across MK sold icy lemonade at eight stands to support a friend in need.

It's not too late! Two more juice hubs will be in action this weekend. Load up on lemonade at 41st and Pennsylvania Streets on Sunday, June 7 from 11 am to 1 pm.
