❄️ Snow Plowing Reminder ❄️
Please move cars off the street when possible so plowing can be more effective and keep our neighborhood safe.

Your voluntary association dues help fund snow removal, and it shows — our streets already look better than most of Marion County 👏

Thank you for helping keep our community clear and accessible!

Need dinner taken care of tomorrow? We’ve got you covered!

The Vice President of our CNA Board is hosting a Dine to Donate fundraiser at Half Liter BBQ tomorrow night.

If you mention the campaign, 15% of food will go to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. We’d love your support of this local restaurant and worthy cause!

Today, I received an inquiry from a constituent regarding an unusual taste and odor in their water. I contacted Citizen’s Energy Group and received the following response:

“The taste and odor are due to an increase in the concentration of methylisoborneol (MIB) in the raw water. While MIB is not hazardous to health, it can cause an earthy or musty taste even at very low concentrations (as little as 10 parts per trillion). MIB is produced by algae and likely increased rapidly following weekend rains, which flushed water from Geist Reservoir.

Adjustments have already been made at the treatment plant to remove MIB, but it may take a day or two for customers to notice improvement.”

If you have further questions, please contact Citizen’s Energy Group at: (317) 924‑3311.

Thanks to City/County Councillor John Barth for advocating for much needed renovation on Carvel next to Canterbury Park! Everyone in the neighborhood and beyond appreciate your efforts.

Big thank you to Indianapolis Department of Public Works for their work on Carvel north from 54th Street adjacent to Canterbury Park. I have been working with my friends at the Canterbury Neighborhood Association on this priority project for a long time and it is very exciting to see it get started. Thank you to the Neighborhood Association for their partnership in advocating for this project.
