Unfortunately I can't go into details, but Annie and a board member are going to take an emergency trip to Swaziland this week. This situation is very severe as one of our kids needs immediate medical attention. If anyone would be willing to help, even $5, we will put 100% of the funds toward Kylie and Annie getting to Swaziland and the person receiving the private medical care they need to hopefully get better. Our community leader informed us that they have no food at their school so Kait’s team was nervous stepping into ours. Due to the elimination of foreign aid through USAID providing subsidized food to the schools, now the government is unable to keep up with demand.

But luckily she found our storeroom not completely bare. Super grateful for our donors making it possible for our 634 elementary schoolers to always count on at least one meal every day. Kait’s team refilled the storeroom and cooked and filled all the sweet babes bellies!! 🍚

Kait’s team stopped by the School for the Deaf for a day of fun and to visit our sweet Banelile! This boarding school doesn’t get many visitors so the kids are always eager to play and get hugs and try to read our minimal sign language skills.

There might be no jobs in eSwatini but our kids still have big dreams. We’re super thankful for a recent grant from Power of One for us to help start small business for our young adults and recent graduates! Soon we’ll have a goat farmer, laundromat owner, block maker, and jewelry shop - stay tuned!

At least quarterly we deliver emergency food packs to our child headed homes. It’s all shelf stable and meant to supplement what they grow in their subsistence farms. Kait is there now and just delivered to 36 of our child headed families. I can’t thank you enough for filling all the kids bellies so they can focus on studying ❤️

Candles provide minimal light and risk setting their homes on fire. We’re so thankful for the donors who provided 4 solar light kits for child headed homes in Malindza. This provides safety & a means to study as it’s winter and the sun goes down early. Thank you!! ☺️

A sweet neighbor who quilts gave me her scrap fabric to take to eSwatini. Our amazing seamstress Mphilo turned it into fabulous bags and sold out!

So thankful for every Give Hope, Fight Poverty donor - even those without the ability to give cash. Donations of time and resources also change the world for our kids 🇸🇿
