Three weeks ago we told you our youngest child headed family was experiencing severe food scarcity but were unable to plant vegetables because of the neighbors’ free range pigs and goats eating it all.

You provided the financial resources we needed to fully fence their property! Next step is plow, then plant, then the children EAT! 🌽

Thank you for helping to eliminate their food scarcity by offering a sustainable nutrition source.

Be a GIVER today! This is a campaign created by NYIT School of Management Deborah Yanofsky Cohn's marketing class.

I actually started Give Hope, Fight Poverty when I was a university student - so we are always very grateful to receive support from current students!

What are you able to give today?

Kylie Dennis is one of our Board Members, but her journey with Give Hope, Fight Poverty started many years ago by signing up for a trip to eSwatini with us while still in college. I asked her to reflect on her trips, now plural, and write a short message:

"I have been to eSwatini four times now with GHFP, and each visit has been more meaningful than the last. Every time I go, I learn more, love it more, and leave more of myself behind. Being part of something bigger — delivering emergency food packs, helping build homes, creating small businesses, or simply playing with the kids —is truly a privilege. It is the greatest feeling to watch the kids get so excited over simple things such as suckers (a 400-pack goes fast!), scratch-art, or pipe cleaners, but it is also humbling. The kids of eSwatini continue to amaze me with their happiness, love, and determination in the face of so many challenges.

Going to eSwatini in 2018 was one of the BEST decisions of my life. If you’re considering traveling with GHFP, don’t hesitate— just go! Be prepared for lots of laughter, meaningful connections and moments that stay with you long after you leave."

Our next trips with availability are in November of 2026 and March of 2027. Join us.

Jobs are almost non-existent for our young adults making no life very challenging. That’s why we focus on helping them start their own businesses. Here’s another one!

We bought Saziwe a bale of high end used clothing from Mozambique to start her boutique business. We’ve been told you can 3x your investment if you sell all the items. Wishing Saziwe luck and can’t wait to watch her business grow!

On our recent trip in March, we bought the building materials for a new home for one of our high school orphans. Tonight she is safely sleeping inside.
For our kids it’s often the first home they’ve ever slept in not made of sticks & mud. It’s the first one that doesn’t fall apart during the rainy season or flood with mud.
So grateful for every donor dollar making permanent, safe housing available to our children.
We have many more homes to go, if you’d like to donate even $5 helps!

She’s only 13 and recently became a mom. When asked what could make her life easier, she said a kitchen. In rural eSwatini, they cook over an open fire with wind & rain often making that difficult or impossible.

Thank you to our donors for completing this kitchen structure enabling her to cook even in challenging weather conditions! We also finished a second one at another child headed home in her village.

Next up, two new homes currently under construction in Elangeni!

Forever grateful for every scholarship our donors have provided, every house, toilet, rain catchment system, solar panel, kitchen, subsistence farm, every single dollar. Hoping it all returns to you 10 fold ā¤ļø
