Wasn't it in the 70s only 12 hours ago?

Well, the weather doesn't feel like cooperating, so we're opening our warming shelter tonight for men and couples!

If you need somewhere warm to stay while the weather gets colder tonight, give us a call at the numbers below.

There are solutions to homelessness that advocates have been talking about for awhile.

The documentary “Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness” explores some of those solutions.

There will be a screening of the film and a discussion during a community meeting in West Indianapolis this month.

If you are interested in going, it will be from 12:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at West Morris Free Methodist Church, 2302 W. Morris St.

It’s free, but you do need to register online. Link in the comments.

Lunch will be provided.

Free Wood!
We are clearing the downed trees at West Park and piling up a great pile of firewood logs and large branches (or wood to chip/mulch). Please come help yourself to any/all of it from the piles near Tremont & Wilkins Streets! Spread the word and come stock up for winter.
