When we began Flight1 in 2011, we never imagined how many families and children this program would have impacted. Seeing the faces of the children when they step off the plane for the first time, hearing parents talk about how flight has impacted their children in other aspects of their lives, and witnessing the community coming together to support these families have been something we will always treasure. At the end of the year Flight1 will cease operations. This was not an easy decision, but we are so proud of the work we have done in this community and will always treasure the relationships, memories, and most of all, the positive and profound difference Flight1 has made in so many lives. Thank you to our board of directors and donors for without your support this program would not have been possible.

It's Giving Tuesday, which means people all around the world are sharing generosity and paying it forward!

At Flight1, we give children affected by health challenges the opportunity to rebuild their confidence through aviation. In our program, each Courageous Flier gets to engage in Redbird FMX Flight Simulators and pilot a single engine aircraft at no charge to them or their families.

We know just how much our donor's donations mean to our Courageous Fliers and how their experiences in the program can truly transform their lives. That's why, this Giving Tuesday, we'd like to call upon our community to help us provide each and every one of them with the chance to rebuild their confidence through aviation.
