It is hot out today….if anyone is in the mood for homemade lemonade, banana bread, or chocolate chip cookies there is a lemonade stand set up southwest of 52nd and Illinois Street. 10% of profits will go to Living Lands and Waters to help preserve the nation's rivers and watersheds!

The annual spring litter cleanup is set for Saturday, May 9 at 9 am! This year we will be launching from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis (UUI) located at 615 West 43rd Street. Supplies will be provided and a great time will probably be had by all!

Info regarding the construction of the Safety & Transit Hub from Butler:

Neighbors, we’re sharing an advanced update from Butler University about an upcoming construction project along Haughey Avenue. The attached message outlines what neighbors can expect as work begins, including information about traffic, pedestrian access, parking, and the overall construction timeline.

Some info about the contractors who have been activitated to address this snowfall:

• Contractors began working at 5 p.m. Sunday
• Contractors will have until 1 p.m. Tuesday to complete their commitments
• Contractors are working in every township
• As of Monday morning, five of the city's nine townships were 50% completed or better
• Still plenty of work to do
• If you haven't seen a contractor by early Tuesday morning, let us know
• Very important that it is understood that contractors complete a single pass down the middle to make the road passable
