Our most recent tournament took place on Cagle’s Mill Lake. Once again, we had to battle through the weather as it stormed on us during the tournament. We were also lucky enough to avoid any flooding; both in our travels to and from the lake but also the lake itself. Congratulations to Amy on the win and big bass! Leigh Ann took second place. Denise grabbed third place and Sandra snagged fourth place.

The next lake we fished was Maxinkuckee in Culver, IN. This was a new lake for a lot of us. It was a very clear lake with lots of grass and smallmouth. The weather was great and that meant lots of pleasure boats and lots of waves and wake. We had a great turnout of ladies and lots of fish caught!

We've been a little quiet on Facebook lately, but we're dusting off our keyboards and getting ready to flood your feed with some long-overdue updates! Get ready for a blast from the past (and present) as we catch you up on all the tournaments we’ve fished.

First up, Turtle Creek! We didn’t get too many pictures as this tournament was a paper tournament and the weather did not cooperate at all. We got rained on (more like poured on) for the last half of the tournament including weigh in. Congratulations to these ladies for battling through the elements and bringing fish to the scales!

Our 40th annual Kid & Co youth fishing tournament is a wrap! Between the high lake levels and the terrible weather forecast, we weren’t always sure the event was going to happen. But 49 kids showed up dedicated and ready to achieve their fishing goals! Luckily the rain and thunderstorms cooperated and the kids got to fish and enjoy all the festivities without having to deal with any rain. A HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors, both past and present as well as those without a page to tag, for all of your support! 🎣🎣🎣

Just a heads up, there is rain in the forecast for Kid & Co on Saturday. We will continue with the event so long as there is no severe weather. Bring your umbrellas or rain gear and your lawn chairs. The lake level has come down to about 5.5ft high so we should be good in that area as well. Can’t wait to see you all this Saturday at Lake Monroe - Cutright Ramp! You can still register online on our website or pay cash at the ramp.

The Indiana Bass'N Gals are proud to volunteer with Indiana Veterans' Home for Fishing with Veterans! If you're interested in being a volunteer for the Veterans Home to help with fishing or any other activities, the steps are easy!

1. Fill out the application found here:https://www.in.gov/ivh/files/Volunteer-Application032025.pdf
2. Submit your application to [email protected], or call 765-497-8638 for more information.
3. After a short review process, you'll be in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator who will help get you on the schedule for Fishing with Veterans!

Fishing is currently running from 9:30am - 11:00am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting! Volunteering with Fishing with Veterans allows you to access Legion Pond (only while fishing the Veterans), which is a private pond right on the IVH property. Veterans regularly catch nice sized sunfish, bass, and catfish!

Our Indiana Veterans' Home is the only Veterans Home in the state of Indiana. Come on out to meet some great folks and share the joy of fishing with our Veterans!

Mark your calendars! We’re officially 3 weeks away from our Kid & Co youth fishing tournament. 🎣 We’ve been closely monitoring the water levels at Lake Monroe. If we don’t receive any major rain between now and August 1st we should be able to go ahead with the tournament. 🤞🏻 Keep an eye on our page for updates.

The third tournament stop for the Indiana Bass’N Gals was held at Raccoon Lake, where the 16-inch size limit proved no obstacle for our female anglers, who brought in some great fish.

Congratulations to Amy, the victor. Ericka secured second place, while Julie achieved third place with her first two keepers. Melissa claimed fourth place, and Nicole rounded out the top five with fifth place. We also Bre join us as a guest and bring in a nice keeper. Nice work ladies!
