A moment with Honorable Senator Andrew Kim, the first Korean American US Senator. As a former diplomat he shared with us passionately how diplomacy, development, and democracy can still prevail in the world! He is a supporter of peace and democracy in Myanmar. Thank you Senator for your leadership and inspirational service!

Scholarship and higher Education opportunities for students from Myanmar to study in the USA: NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the world's largest NGO association dedicated to international education and exchange offers one of the greatest opportunities, indeed it has supported the Myanmar Scholars and Leaders Program (MSLP), which supported Doctoral and Master’s students at some of the top-notch graduate schools including Harvard University, Indiana University Bloomington, Purdue University, Tufts University and Western Illinois University.

Glad to have a catch up meeting in Washington D.C. with NAFSA CEO Dr. Fanta Aw where we had the opportunity to explore ways in which they can strengthen and expand the collaborative opportunities for Myanmar students and for the greater impact on our global community. I have every reason to be optimistic for the future particularly in this area.
