COTA for Breyman Strong

Stop by today for a Hawaiian Shaved Ice from Kukui's Hawaiian Shaved Ice at 1675 W Smith Valley Rd. They are open 1-9pm. Breyman will be making a special appearance early evening.

Today is the big day to come and support Kukui’s fundraising efforts for Breyman and his family. 50% of today’s sales will go to COTA for Breyman Strong. We will be seeing rain on and off but are hopeful that it won’t affect efforts to make this day a success for Breyman.

Breyman and his parents plan on attending our event this evening around 6 to meet and thank the community for their support.

Don’t forget that it is also “Tumbler Tuesday”!

July is a big month for Kukui’s because we will be hosting 2 fundraisers that are near and dear to my heart.
The first one is for a coworker of mine at a local pharmacy I work at during our off-season. Her baby boy, Breyman, was born with a rare liver disease, and this past February, one month after his first birthday, he received a life saving liver. Click the link to read their story.

This Tuesday, July 9th, Kukui’s Hawaiian Shave Ice will donate 50% of our sales to COTA for Breyman Strong. COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Organization) is a nationwide not-for-profit group based in Bloomington, that assists families with the enormous transplant related expenses.

Kukui’s is small, but we want to make a big difference in the life of Breyman and his family! That’s where we need your help!! The only way to make this day a success, is for you, our amazing customers, to not only come to Kukui’s on July 9th, but to also share this information on your page and with friends, coworkers and family and get them to join us in this special opportunity.

I’ve been so blessed with my growing business, and it’s my desire to give back in this way for Breyman. Thanks so much for your support and we hope to see you on July 9th!

In support of Donate Life Month our local celebrity and amazing news anchor, Angela Ganote will be interviewing Breyman’s parents.
