Did you know that the casino industry is the largest employer that is not required to protect people from secondhand smoke? If smoking is allowed to continue within the casino industry, hundreds of thousands of employees and patrons are at risk. Secondhand smoke exposure from commercial to***co is known to cause heart diseases, lung cancer and other breathing problems.

The Year was 2002, Indiana Black Expo takes the action to go smoke-free and reject to***co industry sponsorship money. ITPC creates the Voice youth movement and the General Assembly increases the state cigarette tax from 15.5 cents to 55 cents.
