Our slate of leaders ran for city council in 4 of the largest cities on a shared vision: we can build safe and caring communities for all of us. And they all won their primaries yesterday! Join us in celebrating their courage to run and their commitment to working for everyday people, not the wealthy few.

Over the past two months, Act Indiana leaders made more than 36,000 phone calls, knocked on 2,288 doors and connected with voters more than 1.6 MILLION times via text and social media.

All so that, on Tuesday, we could elected leaders for Indiana who will fight for the things that matter most to us, like affordable healthcare, immigration reform, robust crisis response systems, and climate justice. Now we can say that's exactly what we did, electing state Rep. Victoria Garcia-Wilburn and reelecting US Rep. Frank Mrvan.

Most importantly, we proved, once and for all, that when we come together, WE WIN.

This Sunday, the Black Church Coalition of Faith in Indiana is bringing together people of faith from congregations all across Indianapolis to celebrate and exercise our right to vote en masse.

Our votes this year will help determine policies around federal funding for gun violence intervention, mental health, police accountability, school funding, and housing—making this a crucial election for everyone to get out and vote.

We'd love to have you join us at Souls to the Polls! RSVP now: https://faithinindiana.org/souls

HUGE NEWS: Last night, faith and community leaders with Act Indiana came together in South Bend to interview and, ultimately, vote to endorse two candidates running for office in St. Joseph County.

Act Indiana leaders unanimously endorsed Heidi Beidinger for Statehouse District 5 and Dr Don Westerhausen who is running for County Commissioner in St. Joseph County.

These two endorsements represent the very first time Act Indiana leaders have EVER endorsed candidates, and we could not be more thrilled to be endorsing candidates who share our vision for an Indiana where everyone is included and everyone has access to the care and resources they need to thrive.
