Gratitude. That’s the word sitting heavy (in the best way) on my heart today. ❤️

For the past 5 years, our agency has partnered with Toys for Tots Indianapolis with one simple hope—to make a difference in the lives of children. We believe every child deserves love, kindness, compassion, and joy… especially during the holidays.

My team’s heart for our community challenges us every year to dream bigger and give more. And if I’m being honest, around this time each December I quietly start wondering if we’re going to reach our giving goal. I pray a little harder and trust that our community will show up like they always do. 🙏🏽

Today, that prayer was answered in the most beautiful way.

The sweetest mother-daughter duo walked into our office and completely played Santa 🎅🏽❤️—bags and boxes of toys overflowing, smiles glowing, hearts so full. As the daughter kept bringing in more gifts, her mother shared that supporting Toys For Tots has been a family tradition since her children were small.

They asked for no recognition.
No spotlight.
But they know who they are.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you. Your generational legacy of love, generosity, and selflessness will forever be remembered by my team and me. You reminded us exactly why we do this. ✨

In 2024, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation proudly upheld one of the highest program-to-support ratios in the nonprofit world — 98:2.

This means that 98% of every dollar donated goes directly to our mission of providing toys, books and other gifts to children in need. The remaining 2% covers essential fundraising expenses — not one donated dollar goes toward salaries. The interest and dividends from an endowment fund covers the manpower costs of our small staff.
